Álvarez and Figueres’ supporting prosecutors went to Partido de Liberación Nacional (PLN) headquarters: they claim there is a delay in the counting process and say they doubt they way the scrutiny is taking place.
The Internal Elections Court issued TEI-653-2017 resolution in which, the registration of 977 boards were already digitized and they will now be reviewed only with the closing protocols and in the presence of the prosecutors, without counting it one by one. However, this is the the point that make people doubt.

The resolution also established that three polling stations will be in charge of completing the data digitization process, and two others will fill the records in those cases where the electoral material is incomplete.
Once the convention scrutiny stage is over, the documentation will be transferred to these polling stations for counting, but it is not clear whether the protocols will be taken into account or a ballot will be made.
