The National Technical University (UTN) is organizing the Latin American forum of technical and technological universities.
The UTN is working with the Union of Universities of Latin America (UDUAL). The forum will be held on September 8th and September 9th.
The Third Forum of Technical and Technological Universities in Latin America will present topics of interest to all institutions.
Luis Fernando Chaves, Vice Chancellor of Extension and Social Action of the UTN, stated that the forum aims to propose a development agenda for the future.
Organizers said that these institutions have a link with the productive sectors of the country.
It is intended that 40 Latin American universities, whose representatives will give a future vision for the economic development of the region taking as priority the immediate needs of the productive sectors, will participate in this event.
The topics to be developed are: the role of technological and technical universities in the XXI century, the role of these universities in the construction of a better regional education and the link of technical and technological universities with the productive sectors.
