For the fifth consecutive year, the Green Building Council of Costa Rica and Green Building Expo will organize the International Congress of Sustainable Cities in May.
The program will be developed with a variety of topics led by national and international speakers regarding mobility, the sustainability of cities, the quality of life of the inhabitants, and governance in planning issues.
The motto of the congress is “Transition, Participation and Action” and, in addition to allowing the exchange of ideas regarding the use of public spaces for the welfare and safety of the population, it will organize workshops to give participants the opportunity to become certified.
If the aspiration is to achieve efficient buildings, both public and private, it is important to focus efforts in the early stages of design and planning, going through construction and operation and considering, for each stage, the optimization of resources,”
said Ana Quirós, engineer of the Green Building Council of Costa Rica.
The pre-sale price to participate in the congress is $250 for the general public and $150 for students. For more information, send an email to comercial@gbccr.org or call 2289-3289.
