Costa Rican photographer Juan Pablo López managed to capture images breathtaking sunsets to compile the best photographs of 2017. These images are part of a project by López named Explorer, aiming to share his photographs, but also about gastronomy and culture with the public.
For about nine years, López decided to share the wonders that can be seen from the air with other people. He is a consultant in marketing and advertising and advises airlines within and outside the country. His career combines his two passions: photography and aviation.
The photographs of the sunsets were taken in places like Alajuela and Drake, in the South zone, but also in Roatán. According to him, his idea is to show the 10 best photographs of the sunsets, which he was able to collect as part of his trips during last year.
López’s works have been highlighted internationally, for example, in the portal called Images of the Universe, which has more than 2 million followers and collects photographs from different parts of the world. The professional photographer has worked for important brands in Latin America and has a collection of more than 15 thousand photographs of Costa Rica from the air.
