The authorities of Promotora de Comercio Exterior (PROCOMER) conducted a study on the sectors that have more advantages to export to Israel. They determined the best sectors are food, livestock, fishing and metal-mechanic, after signing an agreement with the Israel-Central America-and Caribbean chamber of Commerce.
PROCOMER general manager, Pedro Beirute, said Israeli buyers will definitely be invited to the BTM (Buyers Trade Mission) fair to be held at the end of September.
Exporters must meet a series of documentary requirements, such as health and quality certificate, flow chart of the production process, description labels, nutritional information, packaging, origin certificate, safety data sheet and good Laboratory practice (GLP) certificate.
