A video shows the rescue of two people who fell near the bridge over the Torres River, in the sector of La Uruca, on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the report of the Costa Rican Fire Department, the 70-year-old man and the 40-year-old woman would have tried to save a cat that was under the bridge. Unfortunately, both of them fell 10 meters down into the river bed.
Apparently the couple lives next to the place where the incident occurred.
Given this situation, only the woman was transferred to the hospital Mexico, while the man did not want to receive care from a specialist, although he had wounds.
