The Court of Justice of Limón closed its doors on Wednesday at 3 p.m. due to the riots that affected the province on Tuesday night.
The Press Office of the Judiciary indicated that after an agreement of the Limón Board of Directors and the building was closed due to multiple threats.
A total of 17 young people were arrested on Tuesday night for acts of vandalism such as barricading, burning garbage, and burning a container.
In addition, the Ministry of Public Security (MSP) confirmed a supermarket was plundered in downtown Limón.
The Press Office indicated the Courts will open at their usual time on Thursday.
