Do you have problems with the income certification? You need to read this!

There are those who claim to have problems when entering the DV code, other people say that they have difficulties with their personal data. The fact is that the digital income certification has generated a series of complaints among the insured people from the Costa Rican Social Security Fund (CCSS).

Here there are some observations:

DV code:

The verifier code (DV) allows to validate that the person who enters the system is a natural person, in order to prevent hacker attacks that want to enter the system illegally through the network.

In the income certification, it is shown as follows: DV: X00000

What you have to enter in the web form is the value, without the DV. Some people are typing the “DV” as part of the code in the form, which makes it impossible to continue the process,

was informed by the CCSS.

Period:

It must be entered in month-year format (MM / YYYY), and it must match with the period in the DV code.

Employment number:

People are providing the wrong information: enter the correct number and check the information and order provided.

TSE data:

If your problem is related to the Supreme Election Court (TSE) data, verify that you are typing all the correct information.

What we’ve seen is that in some cases, people who have two names make the registration process consigning only 1 of them, which doesn’t allow to validate the full information,

informed the CCSS.

The income certification issued by the CCSS will no longer be printed. Authorities do not have to ask for it in hospitals, clinics, Ebais or in branches of the institution. It won’t be asked for pension processings.

However, you may need it for other procedures. In these cases, you have the option to have it digitally.
