Do you want to know if your employees are using drugs? Actúa 6+ can help you!

Taking preventive measures regarding your employees’ use of drugs could prevent you from having many problems in the future, such as accidents at work or conflicts among employees.

A one-step diagnostic test promises to ease the process for companies that want to evaluate people who might be using drugs at work, so they can timely take action to correct the problem and have a healthier, work environment.

It is Actúa 6+, a fast test that consists on an integrated vessel that works as an urine collection method. It includes 6 test strips that detect 6 different drugs: cocaine, marijuana, ecstasy, amphetamines, benzodiazepines, morphine and opiates.

The integrated vessel has two safety mechanisms: the thermometer and the adulteration strip.

The thermometer is a mechanism that allows to know if the urine sampe is recent. Its temperature should be from 32 to 38 degrees. If it is not like that, it means that the sample was mixed with water or urine hidden in another container.

The test strip or also known as adulteration test. It helps to know if there is any strange element. For example, if the person put some pollutant into the urine as liquids or powders in an attempt to adulterate it.

This test has the advantage of being a very hygienic option since people should not directly manipulate the urine samples. In addition, it is disposable.

Evelyn Gómez, Commercial Manager of PRUMISA, Costa Rica, declared that the test is usually used in several situations:

-During the pre-recruitment period.
-Suspicion for a work accident.
-Random program of drug control.
