After reaching a minimum price of ¢565.8 per dollar, in the last two days the US currency has risen almost ¢3 in the Monex wholesale market. This Thursday, the session ended at ¢568.4.
On the other hand, in the windows of financial institutions, the sale price is around ¢572.
The increase is part of normal market behavior and it is common that after several decreases the price will recover.
Throughout 2019 in general there was not much demand for this currency in the market; however, the Central Bank cannot let the dollar go down too much since it is harmful for exporters, the tourism sector and those who make a living in dollars.
