Donate the coats you don’t wear anymore

The collection of cold weather clothing began on December 1st to benefit the less fortunate during this time of year. Ceviche de mi Tata launched its campaign giving away more than ceviche: the brand is trying to help people in the streets of San José.

In addition, the brand is committed to donating 50 kg of ceviche so that people receive clothing and food. The collection of articles will take place in the restaurant Ceviche de mi Tata, located in Barrio Escalante in front of the restaurant Whapin, from 11 am to 8 pm and will end on Saturday, December 8th. Additionally, collection points were set up in Curridabat and Santo Domingo de Heredia parks.

We invite people to participate in this campaign, we do it wholeheartedly, we know that many people do not have the luck to have food and heat during these holidays and if we can do something to change or improve this, we will do it,”

said Diego Vargas, owner of the restaurant.

Monetary contributions will be received and transformed into food. Some of the items that will be received are blankets, coats, pants, scarves, gloves, hats, among others. It should be noted that only items that are in good condition for use will be accepted.

The restaurant is also looking for volunteers to perform these tasks. The requirements to be a volunteer include being of legal age, having free time and good attitude to carry out the activities.

The donations will be delivered on December 9th, from 10 am to 4 pm.
