Earthquake shook the South Zone and part of the Central Valley

A 5.0 magnitude movement, with an epicenter 14.4 kilometers southwest of Corredor de Corredores, in Puntarenas, shook much of the national territory.

This was reported by the Costa Rican Volcanological and Seismological Observatory (Ovsicori), through its official social networks.

The quake occurred at 5:17 pm on Wednesday and had a depth of five kilometers. The event was perceived in the Central Valley and communities of the South Zone.
