At 72, an elderly man is the prime suspect of selling drugs in Escazú center.
The arrest was made on Tuesday by agents of the Narcotics Section of the Judicial Investigation Agency (OIJ), who raided his home.
The man was under investigation since June, 22nd, thanks to complaints received through the OIJ’s Confidential Information Center (800-8000645).
Twenty-six doses of crack and cash, which presumably is the result of illicit sales, were seized during the raid.
The detainee is now in the hands of the Public Ministry to define his legal situation.
