The exchange rate continues its upward trend. This Tuesday it reached ¢638 in the banks for the first time.
The first banking entities to reach this figure were CMB (Citi) and Prival Bank. At 11 a.m., the rest of the banks keep it between ¢631 and ¢635.
The value of the dollar has also risen in the Foreign Currency Market (MONEX). The weighted average of the operations exceeds ¢10.98 at the close of Friday.
To avoid large movements in the exchange rate, the Central Bank intervened with exchange stability operations for a total of $7.8 million, the equivalent of 72% of the total transacted during the day.
