Fabricio Alvarado hopes to turn around results in Cartago and win elections

Presidential candidate Fabricio Alvarado greeted his supporters in the central canton of Cartago. The National Restoration candidate visited the electoral board at Vicente Lachner High School a few blocks from the Basilica of Los Angeles.

In this province, Restoration was the fourth force behind the Citizen Action Party (PAC), National Liberation and Christian Social Unity. The evangelical group won 15% of the votes (41,211).

In the central canton, PAC won 24,665 votes, 27.59% of the total. National Restoration fell to 11.54% of the votes, 10,318, in the central canton.

Despite the results on February 4th, Alvarado made a positive assessment of the day.
