With a great and moving speech, legislator of the Venezuelan National Assembly Dinorah Figuera shouted “be strong, Venezuela!” And “thanks, Costa Rica!” in front of the dozens of compatriots who were at the National Park.
Figuera stated that they, as legislators and fighters of democracy, respect the actions that each country has developed to support what is happening in Venezuela.
She assured that the only thing they demand from Costa Rica and the nations of Latin America is to be sensitive before the violation of Venezuelans’ human rights.
We, as Venezuelans, are demanding and denouncing to the world the serious humanitarian crisis we have in our health system, and the violation of the institutionality of the National Assembly,
said Figuera.
She denounces that she hasn’t received her salary since June 2016 but she continues fighting to stop the abuses and the repression her country is facing and to return to the democratic system Venezuelans used to live in.
