A fire left three families homeless this Friday morning in Concepción de Alajuelita.
Dilana Zamora, Supervisor of the Fire Department, said the report was received at 1:28 a.m. in Las Vegas neighborhood. When the units arrived, the fire had completely destroyed two houses and the emergency could be controlled in the third house, which was partially damaged.
No person was injured and so far the causes of the fire are unknown. Nevertheless, the type of material with which the houses were constructed facilitated fire propagation.
Firefighters needed two fire extinguishing units to control the fire at 1:46 a.m.
