The low temperatures in recent days caused frost to cover Irazú Volcano, where the landscape was dyed in white.
María Lourdes Gómez works in the park and when she arrived on Tuesday morning, she found the vegetation full of frost, so she did not hesitate to take pictures.
Eladio Solano, from the National Meteorological Institute said days ago that temperatures up to 2 degrees Celsius were reported.
It is not the first time this happens in the national park. In January there were also reports of frost in this mountain.
