Fuel Businessmen suggest customers request electronic invoice only if necessary

Starting this Monday, service stations across the country must provide the electronic invoice to their customers.

After an extension by the Ministry of Finance, the establishments had to have all the necessary system for the issuance of the digital document as of April 1st.

The Chamber of Fuel Businessmen, an organization that groups together the majority of service stations in the country, assured that 100% of the 323 affiliated companies have the necessary systems to deliver the electronic invoice.

Despite this, the hydrocarbon traders asked the clients to request the document only if strictly necessary. That is, when there are tax and non-personal purposes.

Each station carries an average of 1,200 daily sales and it is estimated that up to 400,000 electronic invoices per day might be issued throughout the country.
