American Expatriate Costa Rica

Go sightseeing without spending a lot of money!

To walk, you don’t have to spend a lot of money. you just need to organize yourself and look for cheaper options.

The Costa Rican Tourism Institute (ICT) mentioned that several of these options can be viewpoints or historical sites near the capital or in coastal areas where luxury hotels are not the only options.

You can enjoy the stunning and historic Ujarrás ruins and you can appreciate the beauty of Orosi Valley and Ujarrás landscape.

All these options have family services, such as playgrounds, parks, huts, water and others.

With these alternatives, you can go sightseeing by making short walks during this season and at the beginning of 2017,

said Luis Jara, from the Costa Rican Tourism Institute.
