Halloween is just around the corner. And there is no better way to spend that day than in the place where fear lives: Dracula’s Transylvanian Castle … or at least that’s Airbnb application’s goal.
The vacation rentals company launched a worldwide contest for horror lovers. The winner will spend October 31th, along with a companion, in a coffin (or bed), inside the castle that inspired the novel written by Bram Stoker.
The legendary Bran’s Castle is located in Romania. The happy and terrified winner will be hosted by Dacre Stoker, writer’s great-grandson.
The house rules are simple: garlic, crosses, selfies in the mirror and silver jewelry are not allowed.
Wander the different rooms (…) from the top of the tower to the darkest crypts. If you prefer, go to the the viewpoint and let yourself be enchanted by the breathtaking view of the Carpathians Mountains bathed in the last ray of sunlight. Go inside before the night catches you by surprise. We’ve heard stories about unexpected guests knocking on the doors in the early morning,
stated the invitation.
If you are not afraid of anything and you want to spend the night in Dracula’s castle, you must log in (or create an account) on Airbnb website and describe in less than 500 characters, what you would say to Count Dracula if you find him in your home.
The prize includes round-trip plane tickets to Romania. The contest ends on October 26th and winners will be contacted via email.
