The National Emergency Commission (CNE) issued a green alert for the entire Pacific region due to atmospheric instability due to the proximity in the Intertropical Convergence Zone.
The National Meteorological Institute (IMN) reported on Wednesday that downpours will continue.
As for the Central Valley, isolated showers with amounts of 10 to 35 are expected, mainly in mountainous areas.
The CNE recommends the populations of the South, Central and Note Pacific:
-Extreme precautionary measures in areas with vulnerability to floods.
-Monitor weather conditions and be alert to information from the authorities.
-In case of thunderstorm and strong gusts of wind take shelter in safe places.
