The Costa Rican Railways Institute (INCOFER) suspended the train journey this morning. It suspended the 6:35-am service from Cartago to San José and the 7:30-am service from San José to Cartago due to a mechanical fault in the machine engine.
According to María Fernanda Flores, spokeswoman for the entity, the other 4 journeys that the train carries out to the old metropoli continue at the established times and, so far, there have been no other mishaps or delays.
