According to the Ministry of Public Works and Transport (MOPT), Juan Santamaria International Airport will operate normally and only weather conditions will determine the possible closures or postponement of flights.
Those who have scheduled trips in the next 48 hours should check with the airlines regarding the status of their flights.
The MOPT also indicated that ferries services work normally from Playa Naranjo and Paquera to Puntarenas, and vice versa.
Every 30 minutes, before departure, weather conditions are corroborated to ensure that travel is safe.
The cabotage service between Golfito and Puerto Jiménez is suspended until further notice.
