If you must travel on the General Cañas Highway on Thursday, you must know that the bridge over the River Virilla will be closed from 7:45 p.m. until 5:15 a.m. on Friday.
This is necessary to carry beams that allow the extension of La Platina Bridge from 4 to 6 lanes.
The transit will be interrupted in the direction Alajuela-San José from EPA’s crossing for trucks and from Conservatorio Castella for other vehicles.
Drivers of light vehicles should exit the main road, continue along Lagunilla and from there to La Valencia. Then go to Juan Pablo II Bridge.
