The Judicial Investigation Agency (OIJ) referred to Liberia massacre again.
The victims, all young and university people, were identified as: Joseph Briones Solís (22 years old), Dayana Martínez Romero ( 24 years old), Stephanie Hernández García (24 years old), Ingrid Masiel Méndez Serrano (23 years old), Ariel Antonio Vargas Condega (24 years old) and a 14-year-old girl, who remains hospitalized in the Liberian Hospital. She is in stable condition.
At the moment, the judicial authorities do not have a clear hypothesis of what happened.
However, OIJ director Walter Espinoza said they are taking the case on the right track and prefer to be careful not to affect the investigations.
The autopsies were practiced early. The deaths were provoked with a knife, a kitchen knife since it was used to cut their throats,
said Espinoza.
Police confirmed that the kitchen knife was not found on the site.
One of the victims, unlike the others, was not tied by hand and foot.
The 14-year-old survivor is in good condition and she is already eating by herself.
