Long hair? Help cancer patients

On August 21st, at Juan Santamaría of Alajuela park, various activities were held to collect hair for women with cancer.

Hair can be donated and properly packed in a transparent bag with your name and tied in a braid (mandatory) or you can make the decision to cut it in place with stylists who perform this task.

The organization of the Municipality of Alajuela and the Ana Gabriela Ross Foundation for Life offer lectures on sexual health, nutrition, finance, self-help and personal care, as well as Zumba classes, aerobics and yoga for the whole family during the morning and afternoon.

You can be part of this good cause by cutting some of your hair and bringing smiles to those who suffer from this disease.

Guidelines:
1. Hair MUST be clean, dry, braided and have a minimum length of 8 inches, or it will be discarded.
2. Hair with hair dye or the permanent is accepted.
3. Bleached or shaved hair, hair that swept of the floor, dreadlocks, hair extensions or synthetic hair is NOT accepted.
