Legislators sang 3 patriotic anthems and had a day off.
All parliamentary members reached an agreement and they adjourned the plenary session after having sung the National Anthem, The Patriotic Costa Rican and September 15th Patriotic Anthem.
The decision was made because some lawmakers wanted to join the celebrations in Cártago and other communities.
Legislators will not be in session today for the holiday on they do not work on Fridays. As a result, they will return to their seats next Monday.
