A man from San Isidro de Coronado moved to Santa Cruz de Guanacaste, where agents of the Drug Control Police (PCD) found 127 marijuana plants in his yard, and another 48 in the refrigerator of the house.
Thanks to confidential reports, the authorities managed to arrest the 55-year-old subject surnamed Alvarado.
In that house, the authorities found another 48 marijuana plants in a refrigerator, as well as a 22-gauge gun and 245 grams of marijuana seed. In coordination with judicial authorities of Santa Cruz, the plants were burned last night (Tuesday) on the site,”
confirmed the Ministry of Public Security (MSP) through a press release.
The plantation and housing were located very close to a beach known as Vista del Mar. Apparently, the crops had commercial purposes to satisfy local drug trafficking activities.
