On Tuesday, at about 5:45 p.m., the Red Cross got the alert of a person hit by the train, in Santa Rosa de Santo Domingo in Heredia.
Upon arrival, they found the man who died on the site.
According to Rita Rodríguez, from the central monitoring of the train service, the incident occurred in La Rinconada de Santa Rosa de Santo Domingo in Heredia.
At the moment the identity and approximate age of the person is unknown. We only know that the victim was walking near the train line, he slipped and fell right when the locomotive was passing.
