Manuel Antonio Beach was declared as one of the most impressive beaches in the world by El País Spanish newspaper, in which Costa Rican nature was highlighted.
According to the publication, Manuel Antonio is among the top ten beaches in the world. When compared to other Latin American beaches, it was only listed along with Río de Janeiro beach.
In addition, wildlife in the region such as iguanas, coatis and toucans, who share their habitat with monkeys and raccoons, was part of the publication.
Among the most impresive areas mentioned by the newspaper there are Anse Source d’Argent, located at La Digue island, Seychelles, Guana Island in the British Virgin Islands and Pipeline Beach in Hawaii.
