A man surnamed Mena Izaguirre will spend the next 6 months in pre-trial detention , as he is the alleged responsible of killing an Asian trader from that area. He is accused of first-degree murder and aggravated robbery.
The precautionary measure was received by the Criminal Court of the place.
Mena is under investigation due to a crime that took place on January 16th, when the suspect apparently entered with another accused, who turned himself in to the authorities the day after the murder, with the apparent goal of assaulting the Asian. However, the subject allegedly shot the victim and he died.
Authorities were able to arrest Mena on January 25th.
