Headbangers had their night on Saturday during the concert of the legendary band Metallica, at the National Stadium. However, there’s a negative side to it: La Sabana was filled with trash.
Early risers and joggers had to exercise amid beer cans, bags, boxes, cups, plastic bottles and anything else you can imagine.
The press went by the place on Sunday morning and the image of destruction was unpleasant. The sidewalks and several green areas became the trash cans of those who spent hours waiting anxiously for the concert. Those waiting hours took their toll on the image of La Sabana.
Although there were actual trash cans, most of them were flipped over and the content landed on the streets.
Move Concerts, producer of the event, reported they had previously agreed with the administration of the National Stadium to clean the perimeter around the compound after the concert. The action will be taken over by a private company, according to a statement via Instagram.
