A Mexican tourist was found murdered in Santa Teresa de Cóbano de Puntarenas and two suspects are in custody. This was the second crime that shook a touristic area of the country during the weekend.
The homicide was confirmed by the Ministry of Public Security (MSP). At the moment the causes of the murder are unknown.
The only thing that is known officially is that the Mexican went out for a walk with her partner and with a third subject. The latter was arrested on suspicion of participating in the crime.
The evidence suggests that the murdered followed an assault. However, official information is to be corroborated.
