Immigration has announced that it will keep the border check point with Nicaragua at Peñas Blancas open for 24 hours on December 22nd and 23rd. Immigration has sent additional staff to all the borders, and say the crossing at Peñas Blancas is the overall second busiest, followed by Juan Santamaria Airport.
