Minister Villalta apologized to the population

Minister of Public Works and Transport, Carlos Villalta, apologized to the population for the problems generated after the partial closure of the bridge over Virilla River.

Villalta also asked for people’s patience, assuring that little by little things are going to improve in these 6 weeks.

I ask a little more than a day and a half to evaluate the situation,

declared the official.

Due to the delays in train services, the collapse of alternative routes and the constant delays in the vehicular transport, people have been questioning the way this situation is being managed.

According to Villalta, it was very difficult to predict what could happen , taking as an example people’s decision, who one day decide to take the train and then prefer to take the car.

We appeal to people’s attitude and collaboration. We know it is a complex situation, but there is no other way to do this,

said the Minister.

Regarding the train, he admitted that there are not so many to transport all people, but authorities are doing all they can to provide the service.
