The Ministry of Health denied an alleged warning about the danger of consuming powdered milk and dairy products from Cordillera brand.
Through a statement the Ministry stated that the information is totally false. that brand is not registered in the Ministry of Health since it is not sold in the country.

The false warning, that included the logotypes of the Health Ministry and the Costa Rican Social Security Fund (CCSS), warns that these products have been tested and the presence of Salmonella bacteria was confirmed.
