Moín resumed asphalt sales

RECOPE’s Moín plant resumed asphalt sales on Tuesday, after restarting the operations in the boilers that give the appropriate temperature to this product.

On Monday, 98 trucks were supplied; while the asphalt sales resumed after 23 days of strike.

According to the authorities of RECOPE, for Tuesday they had planned to supply 10 asphalt trucks and four diesel trucks, which is a component used to operate industrial equipment and asphalt plants.

Previously, these products were sold in El Alto Plantel, in Cartago. Now, in Moín, they expect to meet the demand in a gradual and combined manner.

Moín’s sales schedule also includes the supply of liquefied petroleum gas to 28 tanks.

An external factor that has affected the distribution of liquefied petroleum gas and the so-called black products is security for the entry and exit of tanks to the facilities, which is done with custody of the Public Force and affects the daily attention provided to clients.
