A traditional parade began at the end of the civic act of September 15th where the presidents of the three powers of the Republic, ministers and diplomatic representatives of Central American countries participated.
A total of 14 bands traveled the streets from Central Avenue to La Merced.
Attendees used the opportunity to take pictures with President Carlos Alvarado and first lady Claudia Dobles.
The celebrations have been very beautiful, that’s good for our country, that’s good for our confidence. I love this country,”
President Alvarado told the press during the parade.
