Park ranger, Mesén Vinicio Lopez is celebrating the holidays in Costa Rica at a distance of 535 kilometers from the mainland at Cocos Island National Park. Mesén, who lives with his family at the park says he plans to remain on Cocos until retirement. He said that communications have improved with Internet access and telephones, which the park lacked 10 years ago when he arrived.
