PLN proposes pausing the tax plan in exchange for dialogue with unions

The National Liberation Party (PLN) proposes a pause in the legislative process of the fiscal plan, to establish the dialogue between the government and the unions. However, for that to happen, the latter must call off the strike and the blockades on national roads.

According to Carlos Ricardo Benavides, head of fraction of the PLN, although the project is being discussed through a fast track, the procedure establishes opportunities to pause it without detriment to the established regulation.

On acts of sabotage, Benavides said that the government should use the law to lift blockades. As for the support to the fiscal plan, the liberationists assured their votes to the government so that the country does not fall into a crisis of immense consequences, according to the head of the fraction.

On Monday, the Ministry of Public Security reported acts of sabotage and vandalism in the RECOPE pipeline located in La Garita.
