Poas
On Tuesday afternoon, Poas Volcano surprised with a short but impressive eruption.
According to the National Volcanological and Seismological Observatory (OVSICORI), the eruption was recorded at 2:09 pm and lasted 2 minutes.
Although it did not last long, the volcano erupted a steam plume that rose 100 meters above the crater.
As it is shown by the recording camera located in the area, calm has returned to the site.
