According to Instituto Meteorológico Nacional (IMN), he weather conditions affecting Central America will continue to hit Costa Rica, including the areas that received Otto’s biggest impact.
Juan Naranjo, from IMN, said that rains have been frequent over the weekend in Upala and Bagaces and that they will continue at night, mainly in the higher areas.
The weather conditions might complicate the work carried out by authorities in Upala and Bagaces, where they are trying to repair the damages after Hurricane Otto’s onslaught last Thursday.
According to Naranjo, more cold impacts might come in the next few weeks, affecting the national territory, which is normal around this time of the year.
