President about detractors: “We are not going to let them stop us”

Carlos Alvarado gave a short farewell message at the end of his tour this week in Guanacaste. He was euphoric and challenging his detractors.

The President opted for a message that did not exceed six minutes. In his speech he basically listed the announcements he made this week in the company of several members of his administration throughout the province; such as the new aqueducts, the remodeling of the San Blas temple, the expansion of the English training programs and the entry into operation of the Pailas II geothermal plant.

I feel proud. We are not going to let them stop us, long live the Annexation, long live Guanacaste and live Costa Rica,”

shouted Alvarado while he was booed by dozens of people in front of the platform from where he spoke, many of these identified with union shirts of the Association of Teachers of Second Teaching (APSE).
