President-elect has not defined his cabinet or received response from other parties

Carlos Alvarado has been president-elect for just three days and in little more than a month he will receive the presidential band. Time is running and he has yet to put together his cabinet. To this day he says he does not have names.

Days ago, Otton Solís said that the Citizen Action Party should leave half plus one of the positions in the cabinet and that the rest should be delivered to the other parties with representation in the Assembly. On Wednesday, the legislator reiterated that idea and assured on Channel 13 that key ministries such as Presidency, Finance, Planning and Chancery should be for PAC representatives.

The President-elect sent letters to the political parties requesting that they meet to define their participation in the government. So far, he says he has not received any response.

Alvarado would be taking a few days off from Friday and until Sunday to rest with his family.
