President meets with unions in the health sector to analyze salary issues

This Tuesday night the President of the Republic Carlos Alvarado received representatives of the unions of the Costa Rican Social Security Fund (CCSS) to hear issues about salary parameters.

The delegations of the National Union of Nurses (Sinae), the National Medical Union, the Trade Union of Professionals in Medical Sciences (Siprocimeca), the Syndicate of Medical Specialists (Siname), the National Union of Employees of the Fund and the Social Security (Undeca), Trade Union of Workers of the Public and Private Enterprise (Sitepp) were there.

Representatives of the Trade Union of Pharmacy Workers of the CCSS (Sintaf), Costa Rican Federation of Health Workers (Fectasalud) and the Association of Social Security Employees (AESS) also attended the meeting.

On behalf of the government, there was the President, the Minister of Labor, Steven Núñez; the Planning Minister, Pilar Garrido; the Executive President of the CCSS, Román Macaya; and the Vice Minister of the Presidency, Juan Alfaro.
