President Solís asked the institutions to have the emergency plan ready by January 15th, 2017

After the inspection tour to the areas affected by Hurricane Otto, President Luis Guillermo Solís asked the state institutions to have the emergency plan ready in at least 30 days to start reconstruction works as soon as possible.

Although the law establishes a 60-day period, the request of the president is very clear, because he wants to reduce the time of attention in Upala, Bagaces, La Cruz, South Zone and the North Caribbean.

Solís expects that the plan is ready by January 15th, 2017.

The total amount of the investment to reconstruct the affected areas has not been defined yet.
