Goods and services prices’ barely changed in Costa Rica last April. According to the Instituto Nacional de Estadística y Censos, the prices’ variation was 0,09% for this quarter.
For this period, accumulated inflation stood at -0,17%. However, last month, the goods and services with higher prices were gas, avocados and canned tuna. On the other hand, beans, papaya and potato were the main products with lower prices.
It is particularly interesting that avocados and limes’ price went up 9,85% and 28,5%.
After analyzing the variations’ percentages, it is noticeable that the transport service has a bigger impact on the general variation.
