The judicial police confirmed the death of a 62-year-old man in one of the cells of the Judicial Investigation Agency in Limón.
The finding was made this Sunday. The deceased was identified as Porras, an evangelical priest.
The man was arrested last week and was linked to child abuse. The authorities believe that Porras took his own life. He was in preventive custody as a precautionary measure.
However, his body was transferred to the judicial morgue where the cause of death will be determined.
