A communication failure between the control tower and the Juan Santamaría International Airport radar caused a restricted operation of the country’s main air terminal.
Through the Operations Directorate, Aeris, the concessionaire of the operation, explained that the airport remains open, but with some delays or changes.
Interruptions in communication began to occur after 11:58 am.
